The service was amazing!! Jake was attentive and took great care of us. The food was not the best, but they did replace our first entree free of charge, and the table next to us sent back stuff bc it was to salty. Again the service was amazing but the food was not our favorite.

Although I’ve lived in the Metro for quite some time I only discovered Christopher’s three years ago. There’s a lot to talk about..the food…the old school lounge…the Cheers like atmosphere. But what’s most important is this. Their team, led by Eric, goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. That’s it, that’s all I’ve got.

My father loved entertaining and Christopher's was his favorite place to take family, friends and clients. My kids grew up going to Christopher's with our family and to this day love getting the chicken parmesan is their favorite. Now our grandkids go when they come back to Iowa.

We visited on a very busy Friday night for my birthday about 2 weeks before Christmas. We decided to sit in the bar & order as the wait for a table was longer. Ordered prime rib & a steak. Food was cooked perfectly & delicious. Too much ice in small glass for soft drinks. I would definately go back, but might choose to make a reservation for easier seating in the dining room on busy nights. I was not aware they did reservations!

A DSM institution! Old school steakhouse in the cute Beaverdale neighborhood. I highly recommend the house salad dressing (creamy Italian) - other food was also good. Many at my table had the Prime Rib and enjoyed it. Our server, Katie, was absolutely fantastic!
Although the restaurant is known for steak de Burgo, the rare availability of prime rib, made it selection, easy and rewarding

Top notch service at Christopher's, my family are regulars and they always remember what we like. The bartenders know what I drink even after a month away and the thousands of people they see. Great neighborhood restaurant that if you haven't tried you are missing out. Nest pizza in town also.
