This was a great place to have good conversation and food. It’s got a modern feel to the retro look, our server was nice and on it, and the food was wonderful. Even my friend ordered extra dill pickle wings to go because they were so good. We all agreed we would go back again.
By far one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Des Moines. I do not necessarily call this place a “fine dining” however the in the name “fine diner” makes absolutely perfect sense. Food was top notch, creative and reasonably inexpensive for how amazing it was. If it was in New York it would’ve been $100 for the two apps we ordered. I mean who would’ve thought of dill pickle wings?!? I want to email them asking him for the recipe so I can make them at home....

We had the Brussels salad, tomato salad, appetizer specials (crab tamale, melon (with ham - I forgot the name!), gazpacho oysters, cheeseburger, French fries, & summer gnocchi. Literally every bite was wonderful.
