“Finding myself in the area of LJ’s, I decided to grab a quick bite. Frankly, I didn’t have high hopes; I just wanted something quick and easy. They left me pleasantly surprised and with not just the food. The service was pleasant and efficient. Abby smiled and made sure my order was accurate and that I had everything I needed. Her co-workers, Nathan and Maddie, also knocked it out of the park making amazing deluxe pork tenderloin sandwich and onion rings. Both were hot and crispy. After having a not so great day, the friendly service and delicious and quick meal were an excellent way to end the day!!“
“Go there! Today! And then go back as often as you can!Locally owned and operated small business. Seating for maybe 40? Combination of booths, tables, bar. Plenty of parking out front. Handicap accessibility.We had the Douglas special and chicken fried steak and a cinnamon roll. Best of the best on all. Eggs prepared as ordered, crispy hashbrowns as requested, beverages refilled often. Owner stopped by tables a couple of times to check in.Clean space. Nice menu selections. Fair pricing. Our breakfast total was $35 and we tipped generously. There was enough food in the 2 orders for 4 meals.Check them out! You will be happy you did!“
“Absolutely amazing service today! Cael was our server, we asked many questions as it was our first time ever being there. Anything he was unsure of, he didn't hesitate to go find out the answer and let us know! He was very accommodating to our party of 6 plus our daughter in a highchair. We then got to meet the owner! He came to our table to make sure everything was great and asked how he could assist! We got on the subject of the boom boom sauce in which he let us know it had a bit of kick. We then got to taste test the Chili that was AMAZING! He came back to let us know his additional specials he serves throughout the week. He mentioned meatloaf, which is my absolute favorite thing! He proceeds to bring out a peice of meatloaf for us to try and take with us. I wore jeans today and not my stretchy pants! I was busting at the seams walking out of there with plenty to take home just from our regular order!! I can't wait to share this mom and pop restaurant with so many others!! keep up the great work and making everyone that walks through the door feel like family ♡“
“Well I renewed my acquaintance with "DRAKE DINER" yesterday and was pleasantly impressed that it's still as good as I remembered. Had my favorite #3 on menu for breakfast Excellent portions Couldn't even eat it all, but everything was delicious. I look forward to returning in the near future“
