Food was good, but lunch took 40 min to cook and 5 to eat. We didn't get all our food at once. First my meal. Then half of my sons. Finally my Boyfriend's and my son's fries (which we took to go). The Mac n cheese looked like it was reheated in a microwave and wasn't very good, so they took that off the bill. We paid $45 for 3 meals with a military discount. So that's like a $1 for every minute we sat in the place. Staff was friendly.

First time going here and I enjoyed just sitting and waiting for my food. The ladies in the kitchen were nice and welcoming! I ordered the catfish, Cajun fries, Cajun green beans, greens, and fried pickles. Everything was so good!! Definitely will be putting them in my rotation! This definitely a restaurant everyone should know about!!

Nothing like finding somewhere that reminds you of home! I have been here a few times now and my taste buds have been over joyed each time. Everything gets a double plus all the way down to the tartar sauce. The taste is authentic southern cuisine and I'm so glad u found this spot. I'll be coming back more until my assignment is over. Oh, and they had wine also though it wasn't on the menu. Hope you give it a try!!

Fantastic ? best catfish I've ever had. The sweet potato fries are like a dessert in and of themselves. When we opened the catfish box, the steam that wafted off of it signaled the awesome tastiness we were blessed by. This place is a freakin home run.
Incredible southern cuisine and very friendly environment. Would encourage everyone to make it to at least one crawfish boil. Food may not be quick but you'll be glad you waited!

Been here a handful of times and it's always spectacular! Lots of spice so beware if you dont like it spicy. My favorite is the alligator po' boy. Great sandwich and the gator is awesome. We traveled to FL and I could not find better gator than in the middle of Iowa it's crazy! Highly recommend!

I went here for the first time yesterday and I'm in love. I'm so excited about being able to get good fried okra in Iowa. The staff was friendly, the portions were huge, and the service was quick.
