whomever made this "food"? 4/27/2026 should be fired and never be allowed to cook ever again on the entire planet! so disappointed. I had a rough day and I thought id treat myself...nope! a crappy meatball pizza from dominoes and fake chicken nuggets would have been far better. same on you. Remove all Italian flags and decor immediately. Or fire all who handles the food. a treat turned into a disaster. I feel bad giving it to the racoons.
We heard many good things about their Pie…we were in town & decided to stop…we ordered a 1/2 & 1/2 & both choices were excellent…our waitress as well was very friendly & never missed a beat…we will definitely be a return customer!…
Amazing pizza. So delicious. Tons of options and super friendly staff. Wish it wasn’t almost 2 hours away but will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again.

Based on the reviews, Bordenaro's Pizza & Pasta is a historic Des Moines restaurant known for its excellent pizza. The pizza has a thin, cracker type crust that is crisp and fantastic. The toppings create a flavor party, with specific meals like the Bordy’s Special (Sausage, Pepperoni, Beef, Cappicola, onion and green peppers) and the Hawaiian with jalapeños extra crispy being excellent. A simple cheese pizza is also perfect, especially with a drizzle of hot honey. The double dipped onion rings are delicious with excellent seasoning. The food is always hot & fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the second women's bathroom stall in the restaurant has been out of order for over two years.
