Food was good, but lunch took 40 min to cook and 5 to eat. We didn't get all our food at once. First my meal. Then half of my sons. Finally my Boyfriend's and my son's fries (which we took to go). The Mac n cheese looked like it was reheated in a microwave and wasn't very good, so they took that off the bill. We paid $45 for 3 meals with a military discount. So that's like a $1 for every minute we sat in the place. Staff was friendly.

The shrimp po boy was good! The host/waitress was giving the impression that she didn't like her. She also told me that the fries weren't good.....so she brought me over some ketchup

I'm already regretting my visit and I haven't even received my food yet. I have to listen to the news while waiting for my dinner. I'm losing my mind. The waitress is as much help as teets on a boar. It's dumpy and smells like grease. Food arrived. I have to take a break so my blood levels have a chance to stabilize after ingesting massive amounts of salt. Hard to type with hardened arteries. Waitress asked "How is it?" I told her it was salty. She says "Oh yeah?" and walks away. Don't come here unless your doctor told you to increase your salt intake, or you want to retain water. Crazy eyed lady and her kid are an interesting atmospheric addition. She's not waiting on take out, not at a table, just chilling on the bench.

I tell my wife all the time dives or hole in the wall food spots ALWAYS have the best grub. When I tell you Fat Tuesday got it going on. They have it goin' on.

First time going here and I enjoyed just sitting and waiting for my food. The ladies in the kitchen were nice and welcoming! I ordered the catfish, Cajun fries, Cajun green beans, greens, and fried pickles. Everything was so good!! Definitely will be putting them in my rotation! This definitely a restaurant everyone should know about!!

Nothing like finding somewhere that reminds you of home! I have been here a few times now and my taste buds have been over joyed each time. Everything gets a double plus all the way down to the tartar sauce. The taste is authentic southern cuisine and I'm so glad u found this spot. I'll be coming back more until my assignment is over. Oh, and they had wine also though it wasn't on the menu. Hope you give it a try!!

Fantastic ? best catfish I've ever had. The sweet potato fries are like a dessert in and of themselves. When we opened the catfish box, the steam that wafted off of it signaled the awesome tastiness we were blessed by. This place is a freakin home run.

Incredible southern cuisine and very friendly environment. Would encourage everyone to make it to at least one crawfish boil. Food may not be quick but you'll be glad you waited!

Been here a handful of times and it's always spectacular! Lots of spice so beware if you dont like it spicy. My favorite is the alligator po' boy. Great sandwich and the gator is awesome. We traveled to FL and I could not find better gator than in the middle of Iowa it's crazy! Highly recommend!

I have tried fat Tuesday twice now, once for both dinner and lunch. The seafood gumbo was absolutely excellent, and I love that alligator bites. I was not a big fan of the baked Mac n cheese, but the greens were pretty good. They forgot to.pack a sandwich in our lunch to go order, but the wait staff is pretty great. Fries were okay.
