Trendy, shiek, appealing place with locally sorced rotating menu. Very popular, so reservations are highly recommended. The charm of the setting and presentation are on point. Menu has many desirable options, and all are good. However, due to overload, the food was good, not great. Eggs were slightly overcooked, and soggy potatoes were quite acceptable but a bit disappointing. Given a chance, I'd definitely give them another shot. Maybe on a weeknight next time.

My boyfriend took me to breakfast. As soon as our food got to the table my blood sugar dropped and I almost passed out. My boyfriend got me OJ and by the time I felt better my food got cold. The waitress was so sweet, she had the kitchen remake my food so I could enjoy it hot. They didn't even charge us extra! Besides that, the food was excellent as usual. Very flavorful and BIG portions.

Other than the dirty plate we were given, and being out of a couple key things we wanted, delicious food and helpful staff!

One of my favorite spots for breakfast in downtown Des Moines. I love the restaurant's design style and focus on sourcing locally right down to their tables. The food was delicious and the service was great. It's a little pricey for breakfast, but I never felt like I wasn't getting my money's worth regarding portion sizes, deliciousness, or dining experience.

Gluten-free options, lattes, comfort food, cocktails, vegan options, healthy, they have it all! Kindness is their main theme, so you will have a great experience. There is parking in front, back, and if all is full, you can find parking close along the street.

Jinna was appropriately attentive. I went a half hour before they close, but did not feel rushed. Also did not 'get looks' for dining alone. You can sit at a bar, table, booth, or even outside. Delicious food, beautifully presented in an open, friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back. The photos of before and after speak for themselves!

From the food, to the environment- plus they have their signature Honey Bee Latte ( also a Lavender Latte, seasonal I believe but amazing-AMAZING!?) I ordered the Avocado Toast- only this place could elevate that to such a uplifting flavor! Cage free eggs and even Vegan options if needed! A must try!!❤️?

The food wasn't bad, I just expected little more, the bacon was just too brittle [not chewy.. but perhaps that's how it suppose to be idk] I asked for eggs over easy but they were pan seared on both sides.

Come here if you want to have some of the best breakfast of your life! The food was immaculate, the bacon is crispy, along with the biscuits that have a fluffy inside. Their eggs were so good that I didn't even have to put anything on them! And the pancakes were incredible! The "Carrot Cakes" come with a delicious cream cheese frosting, and a thick, delectable caramel sauce to drizzle on top. The service was also great!
