New Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

It's great. First time with the new chef and decor. New Hong Kong focuses on authentic Chinese cooking. I had vegetables and pork for a takeout lunch. Vegetables were fresh and the pork was tender. I'm looking forward to return visits--this might be the DSM Chinese restaurant that I've been looking for.

We had dinner here and the food was really good. I had a beef noodle soup and my wife and others had their hotpot. My dish was tasty and there was plenty of noodles and protein. I asked that they made it a little spicy which was good request since I like my food a bit spicy. The hot pot broth was very good. We got the split pot that had a non spicy broth and a spicy one. I've been here before a long time ago for lunch. I recently was told about their Hot Pot and had to check it out! It works similarly to Korean bbq. You choose the meats you want to put in the soup. If you've never had Hot Pot it's a interactive dining experience. There's a variety of soup base options. You can try two in one pot. We did spicy and traditional.
