I got the chicken and shrimp teriyaki and I got him the beef teriyaki with crab Rangoons. It was all perfectly cooked and so good. He was very happy they had a diet Dr Pepper too.“

“Everything was absolutely top-notch! As foodies from a foodie city (Portland, OR), we know good food, and the food here is stellar! The sashimi salad - incredibly sophisticated ginger-based sauce and amaranth shoots with freshest fish; and the scallops over Japanese eggplant, leek, and Iowa sweet corn was one of the best entrees of my life. Topped off with incredible wine pairings and espresso-crusted crème brûlée, a top 5 of my life dining experience!! Bravo!!“

“Lunch at 11- order at counter. Simple and easy to understand menu. Gal at register super nice and helpful. It was my first time eating in.

Had the shrimp teriyaki with a salad. Salad was awesome- simply because it had more than lettuce! Broccoli, edamam, red onion, carrots...yay. The shrimp was overcooked, but still a good dish. I should have done fried rice, forgot how boring white rice is. Also did the scarlet sushi roll. A little spice, not too much. Had crab on top and I forgot what fish in the middle. Tasty.

Had my food in 5 minutes. Clean space. Plenty of seating for a quick lunch. Miss of booths, tables, high top. Parking a little tight and I missed the entrance the first time around. My fault.

$25 before tip. I had enough food for 2 meals, so that isn't too bad. Will visit again.“

“I love sushi and I had been on many sushi places From San Francisco Ca, Guadalajara Jal and this one Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Des Moines IA and this one was special different and I loved it; Not only the food, the service was exceptional, the lady that helped me was amazing cause when she learned was my first time there she gave me edamame and the way the do it was a little different, I loved it; all the rolls were amazing but the one that I loved the most was the one with cucumber that I forgot the name, but was not all; honestly I could not finished all and she told me let me put this for you to go, OMG this beautiful lady packed my stuff really well even I got this lil plate for the soy sauce, so I really recommend this place to eat there or even to go, cause their service and the food is exceptional, and definitely if I am close I going to come again, thanks !!!!“

“Customer service was on point, and they didn't charge me for a couple more teriyaki sauces on the side. They were quick with my food and it was delicious. I regret not taking a pick of the food, but I dove right in it. It really was so good.“

Bar tender was friendly and did a great job, and the wait staff served happily and quickly. Chef did a great job and entertained and engaged us, while we had delicious food at the hibachi grill.
