Shrimp cooked in Salvadorean cream, sautted with green peppers and onions. Served with rice, beans, house salad and 2 Salvadorean tortillas.

Grilled thin steak, seasoned with our special recipe. Served with rice, beans, house salad and 2 salvadorean tortillas.
Desayuno Cuscatleco
Salvadorean breakfast comes with grilled steak, 2 eggs, cazamiento (beans or rice combined), 2 salvadorean tortillas and cream.
Fried Plaintains
Fried plaintains served with beans and cream. Salvadorean style!
Fried Yucca
Yucca (cassava) fried, served with salsa, curtido (slaw) and other veggies. Comes with a side of fried anchovies. Please let us know if you do not want these included.
Tour El Salvador
Antojitos. This platter comes with 1 chicken tamal, 1 plaintain empanada, 1 corn tamal, and 2 meat and veggie pastelitos.

I visited on a school trip of 50+ students. Melissa was an absolutely amazing waitress. I got the camarones a la crema and a horchata. Both were very delicious!! I highly recommend visiting!!

First I came for pupusas, they were so good and everything else looked so good on the menu that I had to come back again before I left Des Moines & I'm so glad I did. Their pupusas are big & prices very reasonable. The staff were so friendly & the food came out quickly, I will make a point to come to this restaurant every time I'm in the Des Moines area.

I tried pupusas for the first time in my life at this restaurant, and overall, it was a good experience. The pupusas were served hot and fresh. I ordered a variety of flavors, including chicken, pork, and garlic. They all have very enjoyable taste, and what I really liked is the dough. It was nicely cooked, very soft.
However, the amount of protein inside the pupusas was a bit disappointing. The fillings were tasty, but there were only a few small pieces of chicken and...
