“EXCELLENT! We had them cater a dinner at our church for 175 people. The food was amazing! The pupusas, rice and plantains were delicious! And the cole slaw topping was out of this world! The owner's daughter worked with us on all the details and delivered everything that we requested! A truly amazing experience! I would highly recommend them.“
“Oh my, yes!!! Had a pork and cheese pupusa, chicken pastelitos and chicken tamale. Sauce with pupusa had a major kick and I enjoyed it. The tamale was good but not served very warm. There was large bone in the chicken meat in the tamale. Pastelitos were served straight out of the fryer which is what I want. They were tasty but the best part of my meal was the pupusa.“

I thought Tamales Industry was just another mid run-of-the-mill mini mall restaurant, but I was surly mistaken. If your making the same mistake, underestimating Tamales Industry, don't. Its amazing.“
“4.2 We have been coming here since the beginning, mostly Friday afternoons into evenings at the bar drinking and a Nosh. The reboot, was a flop, the amount of really good staff that have been lost is shocking and still, I love it. Most recently yesterday and with the lovely Katie as a bartender it was another great experience. I hope it lasts forever but it sure looks like it could use a boost. Good job!“
“I've been here twice this week, (don't judge me) Ordered birria tacos, comes with 3 tacos, both times along with Spanish rice. Delicious, the Spanish rice is the best in the area! The staff is awesome, so friendly! I will definitely be back. I can't offer pictures as I've devoured them so quickly both times.“
“delicious food and friendly service. I love the flavors of the corn ( hominy) beans, meat and pickled salad. my husband had a huge pork chop dinner that was tender and flavorful. Maduros (fried plantains) were great. Guava juice sweet and tasty.“
“Traveling cross country and stopped for the night in Des Moines. Found Panka looking for vegan options near our hotel. We placed our order and they called me immediately to let me know I ordered a lunch item. I was on the fence about a couple different things I wanted to try so I switched my order to the Tacu Tacu Vegetariano. It was so good!!! My husband was getting annoyed with me because after every bite I said omg!! This is sooooo good!!! They have many vegan options and they were so nice on the phone and accommodating to vegan options. My husband had the shrimp dish and he also loved his. I will vote to stop in Des Moines again just to have dinner at Panka! Yum!!“
