9/25: nice place, patio on the east side so it's shaded in the afternoons and evenings. Goodyear, a little pricey.

Went there for lunch today. There wasn’t a whole bunch of people but still a decent lunch crowd. I got the chicken wrap. I bit into a bone! It vibrated my tooth, and caused me to loose my appetite. The server apologized and asked if I wanted it remade or something else. I was out during my lunch break, so my time was limited. I told her no and I just wanted it comped. The service was slow on top of that. This was my first time here and probably going to be the last if they don’t check their food for bones before serving.

Stopped by Lua for dinner since it was a lovely evening and they were one of the only places that allow dogs on the patio. Our server, Annie, was attentive, helpful with choosing sours and very kind. The food was filling and very tasty and fresh. I don't normally love croutons but these were fresh, salted and amazing. I couldn't stop myself. Try the Ghost sour; feels like summer when we drank it!

Never a bad visit! The extra attention Lua gives to everything makes them exceptional. As a fan for quite a few years I thought I knew what to expect from our visits, but today they once again went above and beyond. Stopped in for a quick tasting of their latest collab and left feeling like we'd won the lottery! When a person or place puts a smile on your face & retains a local small town feeling of friendlines, it's special. Thanks Lua, see ya in a couple of weeks for the next one!
Nice stop for lunch in Des Moines. Best veggie stir-fry I've had in awhile. My daughter tasted one of your sour beers and liked it. Will be back next time we're in Des Moines.

Love this place! Food was amazing and our waitress Lilly was the best! I’d go back just to see her! Oh and hands down some of the best beer in Des Moines. Only downside was we came in at the end of the night and I’m pretty sure one of the dudes that works there was drunk on the clock. Total frat guy baseball vibes from the dude.
