It's a McDonalds at the end of day. Probably my favorite one in the Des Moines area as far as consistency goes. Been here at least 60 times. Your experience may vary, but mine is usually great in this location. I've had my 30 minute waits in the Drive Thru once or twice here, but what can you expect from people only getting paid 12 bucks or so an hour.

Food: its a hit or miss here. Some days, burgers are good, fries are fresh. Other days, burgers are meh and fries are stale.
Service: from what I can see, the crew is hardworking, friendly, mostly professional. The downfall here is that there is no front end service. People wait to pay for orders, people wait for orders sitting on a shelf behind the registers. Its sad to see that personal touch of customer service removed from McDonald's.

A little hit or miss, sometimes amazing folks working here doing a great job, occasionally folks who couldn't be bothered. On average a reliable spot if I need a quick bite during my work from home lunch breaks
