New World Kitchen has been an incredible blessing to our family. My husband has lyme disease and his food options are limited. My husband needs to eat foods that are dairy free, anti-inflammatory and gluten free with clean and simple ingredients. New World Kitchen checks all those boxes!! Additionally, the food flavors are absolutely phenomenal and unlike anything I've experienced before. The chefs at NWK are amazing and how they mingle the ingredients together to create a gourmet experience Is so impressive!! Thank you New World Kitchen for special treats and meals every week!!

Everything is an explosion of flavor combinations and textures. Madeleine does an amazing job however this salad, the Smokey Pecan Salad, just entered a new realm. Absolutely amazing and my new NWK favorite..next to the Giardiniera Hummus.Thank you Madeleine for all of your hardworking, blood, sweat and tears. You create that little bit of heaven that I just don't have the wear with all to do. You are amazing!!!

The best vegan food in Des Moines. My favorite meals are the extra large salads — the Southwest Cobb has a ton of flavor, and the Smoky Pecan Salad has a wide range of ingredients, including a coconut bacon and blueberry combo that is amazing. I appreciate the healthy meal options to take to work for the week.

I learned of New World Kitchen when I saw one of their salads while shopping on Small Business Saturday and immediately started ordering weekly - I was hooked! Hubby is a carnivore who will only reluctantly and occasionally eat kale so appreciate that I can get a single serving (but generous) size salad. Had the rainbow kale salad last night and it was yummy! I look forward to seeing what the offerings will be each Tuesday and don't mind driving from WDM to pick up my order the following Monday. I've also enjoyed offerings from Cottagescapes Bakery (funny my husband will eat the scones!). Madeline is passionate about her business and appreciates her customers so I am happy to support another small business, especially one that prepares such good vegan food!
Got the hearty veggie stew and the snack pack with beet hummus. Super flavorful and hearty stew. Our first try and we really enjoyed both.Vegetarian options: Vegan menu.

This place has a huge rotating menu of everything from vegan mac and cheese to soups and salads. Many of the meals are great cold and the others are easy to heat up. There's usually at least one or two gluten-free options on the menu as well. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Very good! my first time..got the peanut bowl and the pumpkin chili. Well prepared can taste the freshness, nice flavors. Would order again and Madeline's customer service was excellent!
