“When I was being guided there by Googlemaps, I thought there was an issue because I did not see the restaurant coming from the east side of Forrest Ave. It seemed like there was not going to be something at the address, but I was mistaken. Also, the restaurant is no longer 3/4 empty. On my first visit to Lzaza, I was welcomed by some of the friendliest and most attentive staff who I have experienced in the Des Moines Metro area, and in Iowa. The restaurant was fairly full and had a diverse mix of people dining there. The food was very flavorful and had the right amount of spice. The buffet line had a variety of food options for many tastes and dietary needs. The buffet included chai tea which was delicious and also included a few desserts. The naan was some of the best naan I have ever had. It was not too thick or not too thin, and had an amazing taste. They also had 3 rice options which give you many combinations with the main entree choices.Lastly, the decor was some elegant art pieces/paintings, and provided a warm atmosphere. Lzaza is a hidden treasure nestled in a residential area, and is worth the trip!Vegetarian options: Many options.Dietary restrictions: Many optionsParking: They have a nice parking lot, but if full, you will need to park in the street.Kid-friendliness: Very attentive to children and there needs.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.“
