I took these pictures 2 years ago and just found them on my camera, but we also went there a few weeks ago as well. If I had only gone a few weeks ago, I probably would have given this a four-star review. Our server was not friendly at all. Revival House was one of the most unique cocktail bars I visited in Des Moines! Hidden in downtown, this tiki-themed bar feels like you've stepped into a tropical oasis with bamboo accents, colorful lighting, and fun vintage-inspired décor.

Revival House offers a welcoming atmosphere and excellent service, as noted by its easy management for event planning. The restaurant provides delicious vegetarian and vegan options, and takes dietary restrictions seriously. Their frozen mai tai is a must-try, and the Saturn drink is delicious and crafted to perfection. The bartender is a queen, making outstanding drinks and giving the best customer service. She is kind, sweet, attentive, genuine and very hospitable. The "shiitake to me" sushi roll is the most amazing sushi roll ever tried. The restaurant has the cutest beachy tiki vibe with great decor, seating areas and music, and friendly staff. It is a great stop for a drink in a cool atmosphere that makes you feel revived and at home.
