$12 lunch.... can't beat that.
The lady that took our order was rude to us when asking simple menu questions, which was odd, because there were a ton of restaurants we could’ve chosen from. The crab Rangoon are a 10. Fried Dumplings and the sauce were a 10. Egg drop soup was good. The chicken was tasteless and tough. It looked like it was going to be awesome, but lacked flavor. I would go back to try the hot sour soup and something different on the menu. The lady at the register was polite and the food came out quick.

Shang Yuen is a restaurant that offers delicious and satisfying meals. The portion sizes are large, with the chicken fried rice being enough for several meals. The chicken lo mein with red pepper seasoning is a popular choice, and the Hot Braised Chicken (5 stars spicy) is highly recommended for those who enjoy spicy food. The meat quality is excellent, and the food is always served hot. Customers appreciate the clean area and the friendly owners. The restaurant also features online ordering, and the counter service is efficient. The Crab Rangoon is a must-try, as it is some of the best available. The Cashew Shrimp portion is large and includes plenty of vegetables. Additionally, the sesame chicken combo, which includes rice and an egg roll, is a great value around $11. Many customers mention that takeout from Shang Yuen is good, with large portions that often result in leftovers. The food is quick to prepare and reasonably priced, with some dishes like Mongolian beef being sweet but not spicy. Orders are prepared efficiently, often within 15 minutes. Some reviews highlight that the food is warm and generous, though occasionally the egg roll may be undercooked inside. Overall, Shang Yuen is a great choice for those seeking quality, tasty, and plentiful food.
