Simon’s in Des Moines is absolutely incredible. The food was beyond amazing — every bite was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding, even though they were busy. What really stood out was the personal greeting from Simon himself. That level of care says so much about how much he values his guests. The atmosphere was welcoming and energetic, and I truly felt appreciated the entire time. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience! Sarah was the best and very attentive throughout our whole dinner. My husband and I came for our wedding anniversary and Valentine’s Day and we couldn’t have had a better time. You can truly see how they all care for their customers. The younger gentleman filling our waters/bussing tables was a great touch to the atmosphere. He was very funny and polite. They deserve all the love.

My wife and I have eaten here 3 times now and every single time Simon and the team knock it out of the park. We had a reservation for a group of 9 to celebrate our wedding and everybody agreed this is the best restaurant in the city, by far! Our Waitress was very attentive and kind, Simon greeted us at the door and stopped by multiple times throughout the meal to check up on us and make small talk.The complimentary red velvet cake is so good and a nice surprise if you're not expecting it. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience to celebrate!

Loved the location, ambiance was nice but I prefer a little quieter of a place for nice meals. Would be a fun place for a group. Thr next door bar is gorgeous, cant wait to go back and try it sometime soon.

We tried this place out after seeing so many raving reviews and the hype is real. We only had to wait about a half hour. We were super impressed with the owners ability to remember the order of people as the came in the door. Loved their waiting area with board games and lots of seating. The service was wonderful even though the place was packed. Everyone was so friendly and kind. The food was great! Generous portion of pasta, a giant chicken Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the homemade onion rings were delicious. Prices were reasonable as well. Will be back!
No place does it better than Simons. I've traveled the world and have been fortunate enough to dine at Michelin restaurants. None have come close to the feel good, eat good and genuine hospitality provided at Simons. Does it come with what some deem as flaws yes. If you're looking for a quick in and not, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a great experience, great food and being treated like a VIP, then come to Simons. The waiting area next door is a much needed and great touch.
