Great hidden gem in Des Moines. Great food!
I placed an order through door dash for pickup. It was QUICK! The steak burrito is the best burrito I have ever had! The chicken quesadilla was also a huge hit. I love the individual sauces they had in store so I could try them all! The salsa was absolutely amazing and had such good flavor 🙌🏻
Absolutely love this place! It’s a wonderful atmosphere! I would like to point out the salsa bar! It’s amazing! Like 10 different salsa to try! The staff is absolutely wonderful! The cooks are super nice too! Always running great specials! My personal favorite is taco Tuesday. I get the shrimp tacos. SUPER GOOD! 10/10 in my book.

Faustinos Taquería is a Mexican spot in DSM. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the lady behind the counter was very sweet. The atmosphere is great. The food is incredible. The salsa bar is great; the creamy avocado salsa and creamy spicy salsa are fantastic. The chile relleno plate is a great vegetarian option, and the birria regular taco and quesataco are great. Burritos will fill you up, and the super tacos are excellent and super filling. The kids portion is perfect. The homemade horchata is delicious and not the powdered kind. Don’t miss the esquites. The chips and queso are a perfect start with fresh, homemade chips. The price point is fair. Take out or dining in is always tasty. It is a hidden gem that has grown.
