First time visiting Smokey Row since all my coworkers rave over it. Coffee was delicious and came out the perfect temperature. Chocolate Muffin was not what I was expecting but it was SO GOOD. Environment is very chill and the staff was very friendly!

Ordered an affogato and a specialty latte. The affogato was a 1/5 with way too little ice cream and espresso that was slightly burnt in taste. The latte was a 3/5, not bad but also not remarkable. Better coffee to be had in Des Moines for sure.
We love this place, we visit almost daily! Kenzi is our favorite barista.

broccoli cheese was to thick to eat, watch the video.. this was in Pleasantville iowa. Spoke to the girl that took my order, told her the soup was unbeatable. She said nothing back to me. And there was a manger sitting at the ice cream counter, the girl did not once go to her about my complaints. When i got home to Urbandale Ia i called Pella smoky row and the girl refused to give me a phone or take my phone to have the iwner call me on this complaints. She i shoukd have spoke to the mNger in Pleasantville iowa. I told her could her me speak to the young girl at the counter and the manger never approached me at call. Then then lady in Pella told me i was rude. I was not rude till she told me that. Well i will never step into a Smokey Row place again. And I have been going to all the smokey rows since the 80's. Good help is hard to get... I am only giving a 1 review.
