Small Starbucks inside the store. Was actually surprised at how comfy it was with its big windows facing beautiful buildings. Since I get a mug or a cup at every state we wrestle in this was a great choice its literally by the center. Nice service and great people.

I got the pumpkin spice chai and it was really good. I would definitely recommend to get it if you like pumpkin spice the inside of the Starbucks was nice and there were nice friendly staff. It was decently clean and I overall had a good experience.

They got my order right. The wait time was very reasonable. There was decent inside seating. I didn’t expect the location to be inside of another store, though.
There is an outside seating area, too, but it tends to be occupied by loiterers. I watched an armed security guard wake one of them up. The vagrant looked like he purchased an alcoholic beverage from the store.

Rating because there is a wall between HyVee and Starbucks. I had to walk all the way around the building in 7 degree weather. 🙄 Would have given 2 stars but they wouldn’t let me put my own cream in my coffee.

But since Hyvee put up a wall and closed two exits, I guess I’m done coming here now. No one wants to walk all the way around when it’s 10 degrees out!

Pro-tip so you don’t waste time like I did: This Starbucks is in Hy-Vee, but cannot be accessed from Hy-Vee. If you come in through Hy-Vee and walk all the way across the store to where Starbucks is, you’ll find it’s blocked off with no access and you’ll have to come back around and go all the way back through the parking lot, walk outside, and around the corner again. A massive waste of time when I didn’t have much time to begin with. You can only access Starbucks from the outside at 5th and Court. I reported this to Google Maps so they could change the pin as well.

Got a cappuccino and was just all foam and maybe a drop of liquid. Said something and they told me thats what a cappuccino is. like its my first one.
I went in for my usual double espresso and earlier in day I lost my wallet but I always have dimes and quarters. I told the young lady about losing my wallet and I apologized for using dimes in advance. I asked her if she would mind if I paid in dimes. She just gave me a really dirty look and said "really your going to pay in dimes? Yes I said. Meanwhile everyone is staring at me I felt embarrassed and humiliated and will never go back there.

Changed their hours out of the blue to close at 6pm on weekdays... is it tough to staff this location? Pay more. How are you gonna close a grocery store at 6pm on weekdays?? Thousands of people working downtown don't get off work until 5:30 or later but now instead of dropping by this Hy-Vee real quick on my way home I guess I'll have to go to Gateway Market instead because I'm not about to reward this decision by spending my money at a different Hy-Vee like you're banking on.
