I love eating here. All the food is fresh and well prepared by the staff. Everyone is always courteous. I also get food for customers here, too. Excellent online service and picking it up is always easy. One of my favorite places to eat in Des Moines.
Palmers has always been a great experience for me. I’m only in town once and awhile for work but always make it here for lunch. It is conveniently located in the skywalk really close to where I work. The ordering process can be a little hard to figure out when you walk in but after watching a few people I figured it out. Maybe some signs on how it works. Plenty of people working at the lunch hour, plenty of people expecting food. Long list of sandwich options plus a full list of soups and salads. Knowledgeable and competent people making the sandwiches, and friendly cashier. Fast turnaround for great sandwiches, with a "punch card" program to encourage repeat customers.
