It's inside the hotel (Downtown Des Moines Marriott) it's standard, nothing too fancy, but there's a lot. If you want good food, and no longer lines...get the breakfast buffet. If you have guests or family visiting who are picky eaters, this is your spot. They do not validate parking, but they are accessible via the Skywalk and here are some parking options. :

For the breakfast buffet, it is a contentnial breakfast. Albeit a good contentnial breakfast. Nice selection and quality. A bit miffed I had to pay $20 after tax for it. Hence the 4 stars. Good for a convenient and quick breakfast if needed.
