I am so very pleased with my experience at this Taco Bell last night around 12am. The amazing lady named Jamaica was just AMAZING! She was very attentive to us and everyone despite how busy it was last night. I know how stressful it can get on a busy service night so I appreciated how she was still extremely kind and helpful the whole night. Get Jamaica a raise! She really made my night as i hope we made hers.
The food is okay, but the service leaves much to be desired. I got the wrong order, I payed extra for steak but it was okay. They tell you to come inside when you go to the drive thru.
I would say to not judge this location based off first appearance. The service here is always friendly and I have never had an issue with order accuracy.

Taco Bell is a popular spot with helpful staff who work the night shift. The food is consistently fresh, fast, and well-prepared. The work space is spotless, and communication is excellent. However, some issues arise when ordering at the kiosks, such as missing items and difficulties with receipts. Additionally, this location requires the use of kiosks, which can be inconvenient. The location is shared with a gas station and is situated in a part of Des Moines with some safety concerns. Despite this, the staff remains friendly and helpful. Dinner time and day time service is usually on point or on time, and they let customers know if there is a delay. However, night time service can be iffy, and getting an employee's attention over the music can be difficult. The staff does their best with the resources they have, and they are not being mean or rude. The restaurant has been under new management, and the night crew, especially Dante, is amazing - always respectful and fast.
