I've enjoyed Taco Casa my entire life, and I truly believe it has the best soft shell tacos and beef chimichangas around. Throughout my travels across the country for work, I've yet to find anything that compares. In my opinion, the secret lies in the unique blend of meat and cheese.

I have eaten at Taco Casa for 40 years. Tonight may be the last time. The new owners do not have the same flavors. The hot sauce was thin and watery. The rice and beans had no sauce even though we asked for it. My burrito tasted like soap or cleanser on the tortilla. The salad was fair but not enough vinegar, not the usual tart zing. Nachos had no sauce, stale chips and glops of yellow cheese. A total disapointment.
Have eaten their great Mexican food for over 40 years. Worth a drive across town to get it! Its delicious AND consistent. I don't know how they do it but this place is iconic!! Well-deserved EXCELENT rating.
