Not complaining about price. My only gripe is I would have paid more for a larger portion, and could hardly taste any potato.. I did find some. Hot roast beef sandwich over mashed potatoes it could have been a little warmer.
It was delicious I went with a friend. Cheese curds were ok.

Have been a few times for coffee and pastries. Cool retro looking place. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Prices are more than reasonable. They have a good variety of comfort food options on the menu. Will be back for dinner.

The prices are so low you’d assume the food would be small or mediocre but everything is truly excellent! Cozy and comforting, a wonderful addition to the downtown restaurant scene 10/10

Great service and chill aesthetic. However, we only ordered drinks because there's virtually no veggie options. Every entre includes a meat of some kind. If you want something veggie, you're relegated to the sides or stuck paying the full price sans meat. We'll probably be back for drinks. Happy hour is 3-6pm and is $1 off wells, old tavern (Local DSM beer), busch light, and PBR.

bartender working at night on 10/13 was extremely rude to someone who got assaulted outside this establishment. unprofessional and disgusting. don’t complain about police being around if your place of business is downtown! goofy!

Cool little joint in the old Fongs pizza. Counter style place with tables, unless you belly up to the bar/counter. Sandwiches and appetizers all priced moderately. Solid bar choices. Most of all, just really nice folks behind the counter! We’ll def be back.

Came across this new coffee shop while we were at the farmer's market. We weren't able to try their lunch fare because we came before 11 but the Horchata Latté, energy drink, and service was good. I love the old-school, Edwardian-era style inside. We will be back to try lunch, soon!

Glad this space is lively again after months of inactivity. Had my doubts but this is likely the mext downtown mainstay!

Stopped in at this new spot and tried the ham and cheese sandwich with tater tots—absolutely delicious! The sandwich was hot, melty, and perfectly balanced, and the tots were crisp and golden. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful without being overdone. On top of that, the price was really reasonable, making it an easy choice for a great meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for tasty food that won’t break the bank!
