Finding a caterer for a wedding can feel like a monumental task, but I can confidently say that Tangerine Catering made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Our original venue closed just three months before the big day, but Pernilla and the team at Tangerine stepped in and handled everything without a hitch.

My daughter worked closely with their staff, and from the very beginning, it felt effortless. They really took the time to make sure my daughter and son-in-law were comfortable. The tasting was a game-changer; the food was fantastic, and we knew we had made the right choice.

We had quite a few guests with food allergies, and I was really impressed with how Tangerine handled those concerns—everything was taken care of without any fuss. Their appetizers were plentiful, which is often a concern at weddings, but we didn't have that issue at all! The dinner was delicious, and the desserts were a hit with everyone. Plus, the late-night snacks were a nice touch.

Looking back, I’m so glad we chose Tangerine Catering. They made everything so easy and enjoyable, and our guests had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

We loved working with Tangerine for our wedding! We chose a taco bar and it was a hit with all of our guests. One of the reasons we went with Tangerine was because of their variety of vegetarian options — I myself am vegetarian, and a lot of our guests were too, so this was super important to us! On the day of the wedding, Tangerine staff were so kind and helpful and brought us plates of food to make sure we ate. We are so pleased with our experience and will definitely recommend Tangerine to others in the future!

Susan and her team are unreal! They were able to accommodate a very last minute request for December 24th. Without question, some of the greatest Private catering we've ever had. Every dish perfect! Very responsive and friendly at all times. Will use Tangerine again and again!

I was treated to some delicious yummies at a party recently. The staff was amazing and attentive. Everything was perfect. The brushetta and watermelon with whipped feta were my favorites.

My ex wife works there, absolutely loves it there. Owners have nailed it, the food is all amazing, they treat their employees great, the atmosphere is phenomenal!! Happy employees means superb service with a genuine smile and fantastic food, a lot of it with a unique Tangerine twist. The management of Tangerine can only be called genius.

My partner and I got married last October at Mainframe Studios with Tangerine as our caterer and people are STILL raving about the food! We've been to three weddings since, and at each one multiple people have told us that the food at our wedding was the best they'd ever had. Working with Susan and her team was a dream -- they clearly know what they're doing! We had a guest with a very serious food allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure he could have a good meal. I'm only sad that I didn't get to enjoy more of the food because we were too busy chatting with guests!

My experience with Tangerine and Susan was amazing! Susan was great at communicating throughout the whole process! She was honest about what food would work for the amount of guests at our wedding. We received RAVE reviews on the food from our wedding. We had a variety of desserts, one being a strawberry short cake. There were none left at the end of the night! People kept going back for more! We also had a late night snack of breakfast burritos which were put out about 10:30pm. The folks that stayed that late thoroughly enjoyed them! I know we did late that night back at the hotel!

Before we even went to their tasting event I knew I wanted Tangerine to cater our wedding because I love their commitment to sourcing food as locally as possible and that they were happy to accommodate my unusual request to match some of our food to our Halloween theme. Once we went to the tasting event it just reaffirmed how much I wanted them and convinced my partner that there was only once choice for us! With a few gluten free and vegan guests, they were very accommodating to everyone! Everything was incredibly tasty for our wedding and we got rave reviews from so many of our guests, even our DJ raved about the food! So many clean plates after dinner, it was awesome! So incredibly thankful Tangerine was available to be part of our wedding and we’ll always recommend their services to anyone planning an event in need of catering.

I used the Tangerine Food Company for my wedding reception in November 2021. The food was delicious and I got a lot of compliments from my guests. Their staff were also really easy to work with in helping us plan the menu and make some last-minute changes. One thing I really liked was that there were plenty of appetizers and desserts to go around. I have been to weddings where it seems like they run out of food part way through the cocktail hour. They also helped make the day really special with some details unique to our guests' needs. Of all the money spent on the wedding day, I feel like the tangerine food company was the best decision we made. Worth every penny.

Loved the Valentine's dinner and wine. Very impressed with the quality, pickup, instructions, cost, easy of prep, generous portions, friendliness--everything! Just back to Des Moines after 15 years away. Already know I'll be a regular. Can't wait for lunch at the Art Center.
