I enjoyed the ambiance and the food. Chicken and waffles were delicious our server was attentive.
The food was mediocre, service started out good but then Sam went missing and didn't come back for a long time. We had other plans and needed to cash out!!
Our food was served quickly. The server was very attentive and helpful. The food was very fresh and tasty. We liked the choices on the menu. We will definitely be back!
Without a doubt the best part of our first dining experience at Tupelo Honey was our server. Just the right amount of attentiveness, insightful, helpful, fun and entirely authentic. I didn't catch his name, but he was just awesome. The food, sadly, was anything but. Bland fried okra, pasty and bland cheese grits, entirely forgettable chicken tenders, unremarkable chicken and waffles, room temp mac and cheese, and a very sad entree salad. The only redeeming menu item was one diner's side of tasty brussels sprouts. Perhaps we caught the kitchen on an off day. It's a very pleasant room and, our wait staff experience was first-rate. But as far as dining goes, “lackluster” feels like an apt descriptor.
Service was poor. Very inattentive despite of the place being maybe 20% capacity. Took 20 minutes at least to get our drinks (fountain spdas) and a good 35-40 minutes for food (3 salads with chicken that was cold), grilled cheese and tomato soup also barely warm and chicken tenders (those were the warmest).
Delicious, fast, fantastic service! Highly recommend the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles

3/10 quality went down, so sad I literally came back from Texas so to eat the meatloaf and the pickles but I guess they change the recipe for everything.
Had a great brunch with my Secured Overhead Doors team! From stepping through the door to the last bite of banana pudding, everything was spot-on. The food was amazing, and our server couldn’t have been better. I’m in Iowa every three months—definitely coming back!

We had a reservation for 5:45 and was finally seated at 6:15. The hostess was amazing and was helping to clean tables. They seemed short staffed and there was a lack of urgency from some of the waiters. When we got our food it was lukewarm. Our experience was not up to par with our usual experience at the location in Omaha.
They did not inform us that they would be closed that night due to weather. There was no mention on their Facebook, or even their phone message. We wasted 30 minutes driving to a restaurant that wasn't open. You think they'd give a courtesy communication to people with reservations!! Poor customer care.

We went for brunch on a Sunday and I got the farm house breakfast platter and the it was tasty and filling. The service was slow and not attentive to our needs. It was not very busy when we were there and it took about 45-50 minutes to get our food. I will go there again because I want to try the fry chicken.
