Government cheese... Need I say more? Burger with government cheese was good. I had the deal, which was burger, side and drink for 10 bucks. Filled me up. My friend got the tator tots and I got the fries. I wish I would have got the tator tots.

Chicken wings were dry and overcooked. I was told they would be closing in a 1/2 hour. In other words, hurry up and Order so I can go home. Not very good. Customer service appears. They're doing you a favor. Tired of being rushed out the door before the store is even closed. I want a refund.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have one door that is easily wheelchair accessible, the other ones are either locked or ver difficult for a person in a wheelchair to open.

Had great server who was friendly and attentive to our table. The hamburger was really tasty and not overwhelmed by the bun, so just right. Like the atmosphere and if you need to just go on in to the store and buy some Wahlburgers to take home! I’m sure they seem them In the store there!

The food wasn’t bad and reasonably priced, but I’ve had better in dive bars. The burger was incredibly salty and I’m a fan of salty and this was too much. But the service and lack of organization was appalling, I wasn’t expecting superb service but this was horrible. With its ties to HyVee you’d think they’d put more emphasis on “customer service”. It was very apparent that the majority of the people dining in were incredibly frustrated. The fountain pop machine was malfunctioning and water was pouring out due to a button being jammed, one of the staff walked past , looked at it and kept on going while a customer was trying to fix it , I had to holler at him to get him to turn around and do his job. Will not be back and also seems to be hyvees theme recently to be declining with service so honestly not sure why I was surprised.

Changed their hours out of the blue to close at 6pm on weekdays... is it tough to staff this location? Pay more. How are you gonna close a grocery store at 6pm on weekdays?? Thousands of people working downtown don't get off work until 5:30 or later but now instead of dropping by this Hy-Vee real quick on my way home I guess I'll have to go to Gateway Market instead because I'm not about to reward this decision by spending my money at a different Hy-Vee like you're banking on.
Only thing bad is they no longer serve onion rings. They were the only ones that had the good thin ones.

I ordered the $10 meal deal, cooked medium well. Was not cooked long enough. Burger was placed on a piece of paper on a tray, allowing the grease to totally soak the bottom half of the bun. Fries were good.

Arrived for a small lunch between court hearings, ordered at the counter, went into the restaurant to pick a table (12:20pm) sat at the High Top in the "bar" was told we cannot sit there, because it's the Bar service. I said does it matter, doesn't look like you are gonna get busy, (there was one table full and one person at the bar)... So we moved into "the restaurant" as instructed. The tables were dirty, most of them, and I despise booth tables but was forced to sit at one because it was the only TABLE that looked clean. He said I apologize we had a rush, LOL it was barely after noon, I seriously doubt that!But, my biggest complaint is WHY couldn't we sit in the "bar" area at the CLEAN high top table??? ? ? As a customer, I SHOULD be able to sit at any table I choose! Why must I be forced to sit in a dirty booth (which is why I HATE BOOTHS, they typically DO NOT get cleaned thoughly).

Ordered some burgers through the Hy-Vee online ordering that were supposed to be ready between 11:35-11:45am and they were not ready until 12:30 and there were no fries. We had a half hour to be in the parking lot so we had to pay $10 for parking. Pretty good food though! Nice staff, clean bathrooms.
