“The double bacon cheeseburger had bacon so dry and overcooked it was embarrassing. We had trouble finding a clean table and when we found one, there was a blob of chocolate on the wall. We've seen this place cleaner. Hopefully it was just a bad day.“

“I had lunch here when my job brought me up to the Dubuque area one day. Most of the five-star rating is due to the fact that even in 2026, DQ still offers an extremely affordable lunch option with their $7 meal deal. The food was excellent and the service was fairly prompt despite the place being packed. When it does get busy, the seating can be a bit hard to come by. This DQ shares a building with a gas station, so the restaurant's footprint is smaller than a typical stand-alone DQ. I was very happy with my experience and would go back again if my lunch break ever happens to be in western Dubuque.“

Cool workers and super convenient with where the location is.
Never had much to complain about, other than missing a drink from my door dash order once.
Other than that, this is usually where I'll get dinner if I feel like fast food.“
“Very cool Dairy Queen! Has that classic style and historical look that brings back simpler times! Always a treat to stop by. Staff is friendly and attentive. Unique options are available that you can find at most other Dairy Queen's. Our daughter always loves the classic dipped cone.“
