Nostalgic place to get some decent pizza. This place hasn't changed since the 70s, which is one thing I like about it. Kids always liked the pizza making viewing window, as did I.
With Happy Joes not in Cedar Rapids. It was great to have the taco pizza.

Met friends for lunch to catch up. We all got Little Joe pizzas which were delicious and inexpensive. We stayed a couple of hours and we were never bothered or pressured to leave. Had an enjoyable afternoon.

We don’t miss this place when we visit DBQ every year. Kids get to play games, prize machines, and watch the pizza get made.
Taco pizza is a favorite that doesn’t miss. Pro tip- if you’re taking some home take off the chips…the pizza is amazing left over. Soggy chips….not so much.

For the free little joe on your birthday I wish the gluten-free or cauliflower crust was an option! I have celiac disease so now I can't use my birthday reward anymore.
For anyone who has celiac if you do get a pizza from here ask them not to cut it to help avoid cross contamination. I have had a reaction from here, before I knew to ask them not to cut it.
I love this place! My family comes here for big birthday celebrations for the kiddos in the family, and the staff are really patient with them. The pizza is amazing, I love the nostalgic feel of the whole place!
