The food was delicious!! Service was a bit slow and waiter wasnt very present. However, it was homecoming and they were packed.

Ichiban is a wonderful sushi place. I ate there two days in a row. The sushi was fresh, fast, and quality.
I heard some boisterous hibachi going on in the other room
They have traditional seating, a sushi bar to sit at, and a traditional cocktail bar. Two large television screens at the sushi bar for watching football.
Ill be back next time im in Dubuque.

I've been to so many restaurants lately that have left me unsatisfied in one way or another. Being essentially the only place to go for Japanese food in town, you'd think they may get lazy for lack of options, but they served the best food I've had in months, with the best service I've had in years. Sex on the Beach roll, Chicken Yakisoba, and Chicken Katsu, all cooked to perfection and delicious.

Sushi was excellent! I sat at the bar and got two rolls and they were amazing. Fish and vegetables tasted super fresh and service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend if you are looking for good food and a great atmosphere!

We love this place. They have great sushi and the chefs whip it up quick and it’s beautiful art. The restaurant is clean and nice. The service is very attentive. The hibachi looks great. Mango martini is also great
