I love the mexican hot cocoa. Its got chili flakes on top and gives a satisfying bite on sips. Crew is nice and chill. The design of the sitting area is nice with alot of art to look at. There is also a maybe 6ish person table in the corner for group meetings and some random board games to play with.

Monks is the best place in Dubuque to grab a speciality coffee or a regular cup of Jo in the morning and a terrific place to have a few drinks or beers with your mates while watching the game or simply hanging out with Kasey and Trish

This place is always at the top of my list. The coffee is excellent, and the vibe is unique. You can relax at the bar and catch whatever retro movie they have playing on the TV with a margarita in hand, or sink into one of the cozy couches to read a book and sip on a coffee. Great atmosphere, great people. I'm also a big fan of the annual Monks Makers Market they host - such a cool community event.
