“Most of us had a good meal last night however one hamburger was very overcooked. When the manager came by and we told him about it, he put it back on us for not ordering it correctly. The server never asked how we wanted it prepared so apparently if you don’t specify they will automatically cook it well done. I think this should be a question the servers ask rather than a customer remembering to state that.“

“This was our first dinner at Woodfire Grill and it was outstanding!! Such a pretty restaurant with cozy fireplaces surrounding the perimeter. Our dinner was delicious and portions more than generous. I ordered the crab cake appetizer as my entree and it was a great choice! Two good sized crab cakes...handmade not frozen. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. All in all, we had a very nice experience and the next time we're in Dubuque, we will return!!“
