Stone Cliff Winery offers a friendly and pleasant atmosphere with staff who are passionate about their jobs. The winery has a selection of wines, although mostly sweet, and also serves beer. The beer imitates the original Dubuque Star beer and pairs well with their tasty appetizers, such as the charcuterie and egg rolls. However, there have been instances where service was slow and the pizza was not up to par. Additionally, there is a corking fee for bottles of wine. Live music is a highlight of the experience.
