Food was ok, waitress acted like we were an interruption to her day, She was, however, fast. Not much to say about ambiance. I would eat there again, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Good atmosphere loved the fireplace. Wait staff was excellent. I was not impressed with the food. Had the steak and eggs. Asked for the steak will done not rubber. It was hard as a rock and shiny tell me you can't cook a steak well done and not be juicy. You don't just throw it in the grill with the flat plate in top and cook it you take the extra time. The customer knows your busy but cooking a steam takes extra you flip it more slowly. It's only gonna take a minute...
Can't cook a steak right to save their life but other than that the rest of the food was good. Nothing exceptional but the pancakes were delicious... Asked for a medium rare steak and got one well done. They offered to bring me another one cooked right and the cook cut into it twice to check quality before sending it out. One cut was 75% through the steak almost cutting it in half. The second cut was all the way through like cutting perpendicular from the middle of the first...
