The food was just ok but with the prices of downtown. We wanted a local feel but the price for breakfast was wild. It was just breakfast not a fancy dinner.

The pork t is legit! Classic local bar with great service. Glad we stopped!

Our party of 4 stopped in for a burger. The place is small and average for a Midwest bar. The staff was all female and they were great! Our order was taken and served within 10ish minutes.
The prices were reasonable for the amount of food we were given. The burgers looked great and weren't the worst or best we have had. The bun was very lightly toasted, the veggies were fresh and sliced thick, the cheese was flavorless and the meat would have been better if it were seasoned. The sides... the macaroni salad was so sweet, it could have been a dessert! Not for me, but I know some people like it that way. The fresh cut French fries and sweet potato fries were SO Good!!!!
All in all, I was impressed by the fries and the quick service, the burger (we all were craving) did not hit the spot, so we will more than likely not return.

Perfectly quaint dive place with juicy burgers and great Homestyle and personable service. If you get the olive burger, you really have to like green olives. It was great, but if I order it again, I'll ask for a little less olives.

Food was pretty basic, but was served hot...some of the staff was friendly, but I few of them weren't. Didn't check up on us for refills. It basically felt like they were begging for a tip after my friend got yelled at waiting to use the restroom.
Bathroom was gross. That would get 1 or 2 stars if I could rate it the bathroom is definitely not wheelchair accessible.
I wouldn't come here again.

I’m from Texas but I live in Oklahoma. I come to Dubuque about 5 or 6 times a year cause my fiancé is originally from here. He moved to Oklahoma about 38 yrs ago to work at American Airlines. West Dubuque Tap is one of the best places I’ve ever had In Dubuque and I’ve been coming here for 8 yrs. I really like to come on Sunday morning and have the breakfast with a couple of Bloody Mary’s. They make one of the best Bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had but their food is great too! Their portions are ample and then some! Their food is always consistent and great! My fiancé loves the pork loin sandwich. I highly recommend this place! It’s a small quaint place to get great food and great service!! P.S. It only gave me one option to say what I got but I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner over the past 8yrs, I’ve had all three multiple times!!

This is our favorite place to stop and eat when we are visiting Dubuque. The food is homemade and cooked fresh with big portions. The burgers are great and breakfast is even better. They are known for the magic muffin for breakfast. But all the breakfast items are great. Also, If you love coleslaw you better try theirs. It's the best! It's a little family owned bar/restaurant that makes you feel at home .
