Simple! Friendly! Delicious! Clean!I grew up in Dubuque. The Dog House Lounge was always there - midway on my walk home from Wahlert High School.My wife and I went there for the first time during a recent trip back to Dubuque. Dog house seems like it's always busy and yes, even busier on a Friday or Saturday night. Friendly bartenders, plenty of t.v.'s to watch sports. Draft beer prices are a little steeper than what I'm used to but sometimes it's worth it if you want to be someplace with more socializing.

A new and ever changing menu plus old faithful items like the Carmichael make The Dog a great place to grab something to eat, and a drink. You can play pool, darts or catch a game on one of their 16 TV's, great sound system and jute box. The bartenders are friendly and attentive whether you are a regular or somebody new stopping in.
