“I was looking for a place to easily accommodate my group of 14 for lunch on a Saturday. With short notice they got us set up in the back room, Melissa delivered perfect service, all 14 meals came out at once, all the food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I've driven past this place a thousand times and never gave it a thought. Now I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and friendly staff. Thank you Rhody's. “Second time to The Doghouse. We had our fantasy football league draft here with 10 people. We had buckets of beer and I personally had their Buffalo and Nashville Wings. They were both very good and I'll be returning for them again. It was a Sunday night(before Labor Day) and the place was pretty full and a great fun atmosphere! I recommend giving the Doghouse a go and I DEFINITELY recommend the wings!“

“Great food and drinks, quick and friendly service! Tanya is a great bartender!

Tuesdays they have 2 dollar off dinner baskets and 2 dollar margaritas! They have other specials as well!

They have a touchtunes jukebox to play music and you can connect your phone to the app as well to pick music right from your bar stool! They have tvs to watch sports and other shows on.

They also have darts and slot machines! Through glass doors, they hold euchre games a couple tomes a week for 7 dollars plus an additional 25 cents if u dont have a partner. (cost of euchre as of 10/30/2025)“

“Place is crazy haunted. Our waitress had to have been some sort of spectral spirit. She knew my wife's burger wasn't cooked how she asked (wasn't an issue at all) before she did. I love the mirror corner. Will for sure be making the drive back for another spooky meal“

When we walked in we were greeted by the sweetest person running the complex that day, filling us in on the history of the mini golf course because that's what we were there to do! Yes, it's very dated and some of the mechanics don't work on evey hole but fun....absolutely!!! ⛳️“

“Hostess amazing! 2 LARGE Pancakes, eggs, 3 turkey sausage patties $8... split the meal between us we ate there for the first time 2 weeks earlier and ordered the breakfast burrito. They did not disappoint! Next time will try the Asian Cuisine or the Brick Oven Pizza as both options also looked fantastic! Will be stopping any time we drive through town.“

“They have done an AMAZING rehab of this store - I was mind-boggled! It's gorgeous, bright and opulent inside. I got back to my hotel late at night and all the restaurants were closed. HY Vee has a huge selection of pre-made, delicious food choices. Grab a fork, I forgot!“

“We stopped at The Barrel House on our way thru Dubuque. Food was great, but our waiter Travis was outstanding! Very nice young man who did everything you'd want a great waiter to do! His mom raised him right!!!“
