“Stopped in from out of town and gave the bar a try to watch basketball. Owner was so accommodating about changing tv to game we wanted. Tried wings, a burger and onion rings and everything was delicious. Even with a packed afternoon crowd they took care of us with drinks and service. Totally recommend for a great meal and drink/beer!“

“Best bar in Dubuque, hands down. Very relaxed atmosphere. Food is SO GOOD! Unique and classic wing sauces, and dry rubs that give most places a run for their money( steakhouse rub, hot bbq, and sweet hot mustard are all 12/10, SO GOOD!!!). Honestly, the entire menu is fantastic from Carmichaels to Quesadillas.“

“While I was a little reluctant to have a nice family lunch in a restaurant that seems a little heavy handed with the Confederate flag... I was pleasantly surprised. What a nice place to grab a beer and meal downtown. (There are no flags inside, fyi) The decor is top notch. Sort of a southern, whiskey bar kinda place. Lots of TVs for sports. The drink selection is pretty basic, but we had no problem sucking down some domestics. The food was better than I expected, with the Reuben seeming to be the highlight of the menu. Can't wait to give that Cuban a try!“

“We were excited for good pizza and the famous spaghetti pie. The food was pretty good but I felt we were a bit rushed through even when the place was not that busy. A member of our party did the 3 course deal and the dessert came before we had even eaten a quarter of our entrees, so try eating spaghetti pie while smelling cinnamon at your table, awful. The chicken tenders were way over cooked and looked it, and dry. Then our bill came really quick after the dessert, again making us feel rushed. I was still eating when we were then asked if we wanted any boxes. If you have seen the spaghetti pie with Alfredo, you will know thay it will not keep well in a pizza box, it will soak into the cardboard and dry out, yuck, but that is what we got to take it home. We did end up getting a Styrofoam box after asking but the waitor then smelled of smoke.
Overall it was fine and we got what we came for, but wished it was just a bit better and a bit less rushed.“
