Valentina's Mexican Food Truck Taqueria

I stopped by Valentina’s Mexican Food Truck Taqueria in Eagle Grove on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 PM. There were a couple of tables occupied, and there was a steady stream of customers coming in for takeout orders, which is always a good sign.

This was my first visit, and I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-lit the restaurant was. The kitchen is visible from the dining area, and it was great to see two cooks and two waitresses working efficiently to keep up with the dinner crowd.

The menu is simple and authentic, focusing on traditional Mexican dishes rather than an overwhelming number of options. I ordered the mixed fajitas along with a Mexican bottled Coke. Before the meal, they served warm tortilla chips with a bean dip. I also asked for salsa, and the waitress warned me that the green salsa had a little kick to it—which it did—but it was very flavorful and complemented the chips perfectly.

The mixed fajitas were cooked perfectly. The portion size was generous, and despite my best effort, I could only finish about three-quarters of the meal.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for a more authentic Mexican dining experience in Eagle Grove, I would highly recommend giving Valentina’s Mexican Food Truck Taqueria a try.

Excellent! Favorite is Jalisco or carne asada. When they post specials by the door, that is a good choice as well!

The restaurant is close for renovation. Would be nice if they update the website

Came here because the place across the street was terrible. Got 3 steak tacos that were delicious. Server was inviting and kind. Got them togo but she was still pleasant.

Valentina’s Mexican Food Truck is such a unique spot! It gives you the fun vibe of a food truck but with the comfort of a sit-down restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it really adds to the whole experience.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and tasted just like something you’d grab from your favorite street truck, only better because you can relax and enjoy it inside. I had the tacos de carne asada. Service was friendly, and everything came out quickly.

Overall, it’s a great place to eat if you’re looking for authentic flavors, a cool atmosphere, and something a little different from the usual restaurant setup. Highly recommend!

What a great lil hole in the wall! Wow!! Loved the street tacos and you get to put the topping on!! Thought that was an awesome idea! Loved it....then I got the sea food cocktail!! OMG definitely recommend!!! Will definitely serve 2 people! Had a little heat which I asked for, heat was on point, not burning but enough to make you take a couple inhale cooling breathes. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!!
