Everything is made fresh and in-house. Great chocolate chip cookies, moist, flavorful and reasonably priced. Bring cash they do not accept cards.
Long standing bakery that you will never be disappointed going to.
Extremely good value for the quantity of baked goods you get. If you are driving through Elkader, it's a must stop. Do get there early though on weekends, the options get limited later in the morning since it isn't a secret how good they are
