Little cafe style diner, but no table service. It wasn’t very clear to me that you need to order at the counter and then you are served. Could be cleaner. Haven’t eaten anywhere else in Fairfield, so I’m not sure how the service/food compares to other establishments. The food came out quickly. There wasn’t any seasoning on the home fries. Toast was cold. Strawberry jam and the waffle were excellent.

I was so impressed by the relaxing atmosphere this place emitted. I ordered the Superfood Smoothie Bliss bowl, and I cannot express it enough (merely with words) how life-changing consuming this bowl of magic was. It truly lives up to its name, I kid you not. The quality of the ingredients are ?%. Holy freaking cow, this dish is out-of-this-world amazing. Idk what the secret is, but I have been mesmerized. ✨ Truly, thank you so very much, whoever came up with it. ? You have a gift and I'm glad you're sharing it with others. ? Keep doing what you do because it is just incredible.

I ordered the special for the day at noon and they told me I could not order the special because the chef who makes the egg sandwich was on break. It was such an easy dish, maybe one of the easiest things they offer and they couldn’t make it because the chef was on break during the lunch hour. This is not a issue with the chef but an issue with management. I am sure they will blame the chef.

Feeling one step closer to energetic nirvana ? The only place I've been to with healthy and wholesome food/drinks PLUS a cute Lil bonus doodle. Thanks for making my day Eros. I needed this

Had a smoothie. Took a little longer than originally expected due to being made from scratch.. I realized that when I had heard the blender sound off a second and third time.

Nice little home town grocery store. Great customer service, friendly employees. This store offers a lot of items you don't normally see in a big box grocery.

All the food is super fresh, with a lot of options for vegetarian, and some turkey, chicken and one beef dish. Great juicer drinks. The resteraunt also makes food and puts it in a cooler in the the grocery store attached. Alot of variety there including zuccini chocolate brownies. My fav. They have places around the building surrounded by flowers in the summer with tables and picnic benches to eat at.

I was bummed that they stopped serving their epic gluten free waffles recently but they still have gluten free pancakes that are really good!

Wonderful takeout food with a nice place to sit outside, This is my favorite grocery store in Iowa, slightly ahead of Pioneer Co-Op in Iowa City. I grew up in the area but have lived in San Diego for most of my life--when I come back, Fairfield is where I like to stay, because it is more tolerant of difference and less hard luck and rough economically and socially than much of what surrounds it. It's a beautiful town that has preserved much of its historical character, and this grocery store makes it even more special. It makes it possible to get healthy, excellent, locally grown vegetables and fruit and other locally made products and many specialty ingredients that allow you to make fantastic Indian and other international foods. When I think of my immuno-compromised cancer survivor Dad having to dodge almost everyone in Iowa not wearing masks, I love that this store has a sign on the front saying you have to wear one and they will give you one if you do not have one but do not come in without one. Thanks for helping preserve my 81 year old dad's life. It's a lovely place with many lovely things to eat and to buy to create memorable meals, and nice young people at the checkout stands and insisting on helping older people out with their groceries. I feel happy every time I go there.
