“This is a glorious startup. Finaly fairfield has a classy place to meet with just the right touch -offering a welcoming diversity. Bring a book or a friend & enjoy a quiet fireside beer at 5pm, or come with another for romantic soft music & solitude enjoying a cocktail with a cheeseboard. Or perhaps celebrate your birthday with friends on the dance floor. This is one of my favorite hangouts.”

“Ate here for the first time with friends that recommended El Paso. We found the place clean and nicely decorated. Lots of options on the menu. Even my wife that doesn't like Mexican food found something that satisfied her. The staff was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. Everything tasted good and was filling.”

They also carry some hedge apple kombucha here!!!”

“Really tasty Indian food! The kidney beans were my favorite as the spices made for a very comforting meal. The rose roti, the which is a yogurt type drink, was really nice.”

“Healthy food for any time of day. If I was rich I would eat here every day. They are always so kind and I love it here 😻 As an athlete, healthy options are hard to find. They let me customize a complicated order and we’re so sweet about it.”

“We tried a few things... the beef burrito barbacoa style, the chicken burrito, and the pork taco special along with all of their sauces. Everything was on point. The flavor of each ingredient came through and went together well. The chicken and beef especially were exceptional. Emily and Brea are doing great things! Go try it for yourself!”

“This is my favorite place to eat in town. The tacos are 🔥!!! The tortilla is a little crispy, protein was tender, and sauces verde/salsa are super tasty! The horchata I got (meal comes with a drink) was really good too!”

“What a wonderful find. We were in Iowa visiting family when a friend suggested we try Char Steakhouse. I was skeptical at first but made the drive to Fairfield to try this place. I am so glad we did. We started with cocktails and wine which were delicious and crafted perfectly. Next was a salad course that was crisp and fresh. Our entree consisted of filets, both were cooked perfectly and the flavor was exceptional. We finished up with a cream brûlée that the chef perfected. We have eaten a lot of steaks in our lives all over the world and recently moved from Scottsdale, AZ to Texas. These steaks were cooked to absolute perfection in my book. The service was great, attentive enough to provide everything we needed without hovering after every bite. We met the owner who you can tell loves what she is doing. This is a great date night place for us. Keep up the great food and service, can’t wait to return.”

“40 years ago Torino's had the best house special pizza ever and was by far the best pizza place in Fairfield. The owner was super awesome. Hopefully it's still similar. I'm giving reviews off that. “Amazing pizza options and very friendly, professional staff that are willing to accommodate you at every step and are very efficient. The individual pizza option offers the oppprtinity to build your personalized pizza with as many cheeses as you want, as well as five free topping before extra charges, along with a drizzle to go ontop; Wonderful prices and taste in one-go! All of this while being right next to the local Hy-Vee gas station and Hy-Vee grocery store, it's a wonder why you'd go anywhere else”
