“We were in the area and stopped in last night for dinner. The special was the Prime Rib and that's what we both had. The had already taken the salad bar down (at 6:30pm) but they offered us a side salad and it was good. We also had fried pickles and toasted ravioli as an appetizer. My boyfriend had a Bloody Mary and it wasn't the best. Seemed very watered down, I had a couple beers. We decided to have pie, what the heck it's Christmas, Oreo and pumpkin. The Oreo was better. Our server was a young but friendly.”

“Bring your appetite! The onion rings are great and they serve it on a large plate. I had the tenderloin sandwich which was great. My wife had the tenderloin salad and she loved it. It was big enough to share for sure too.”

“Traveling from Missouri to north Iowa and we took a chance. Called ahead to order the pizza and were treated very respectfully on the phone. Arrived at the restaurant, seated and greeted very quickly. Excellent service by Robyn throughout our meal. We noticed with a full restaurant she and only one other male server were running their tails off to serve customers. Now onto the reason we chose Mike's. Our Mike's Special pizza was FANTASTIC! All ingredients were delicious, the crust was a great flakey, tasty treat! You can tell care is taken in making their food, tables around us had delicious looking meals in a wide variety- pizza, salads, calzones, steak- all looked amazing. Kudos to all the staff! Thanks for a five star pit stop in our travels! We will highly recommend to others!!”

“Doesn't look like much for ambience, but the tenderloins (grilled and fried) and the meatloaf dinner were excellent. The SLAB of meatloaf was amazing and was accompanied by mashed potatoes with rich dark brown gravy (Thursday special) and green beans. Worth a return visit.”

“This place was unexpectedly AMAZING! My husband, son and I ate here for the first time ever for lunch 3/24/24 and it was fantastic! For a bar and grill one never expects anything out of the ordinary. Just your regular service and bar food. However, we were immediately greeted with amazing energy and service! There was only one man to serve the bar and the sit down area to eat and he did beyond amazing. Even after we sat down and ordered drinks and then appetizers and food more people started coming in and he met them with the same amazing energy and service. He warned everyone he was alone behind the bar and to get orders and people still chose to stay and wait and I fully believe it was because of the man behind the bar and the amazing food! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat in a great atmosphere and energetic/ personable staff!”
