When going into a restaurant I expect good clean service with respectable waiter and owners. Well today I was highly disappointed with George's Pizza and Steak house. We went inside and immediately smelled cigarettes, I asked the waitress do you guys smoke in here shes responds no it must have blown in from the back door when someone was smoking. Walked in and was seated immediately by 2 very nice ladies. That's about where my good experience ended. The salad bar was stale and slimy and smelled weird. The food that came out was horrible. Completely burnt, no flavor, and smelled really weird, almost expired. Didn't eat any of the food and just left it on the table. Thankfully the manager was kind enough to comp the entire meal since we didn't eat more than 2 bites of it and refused to take it with us.

I called for delivery to our hotel (out-of-towers)...loved their vast menu for my family. Some girl answered and had no idea if they even deliver “todayâ€. It was a Saturday night. What kind of business is this? She had to check after I asked twice, and some man yelled “not tonightâ€. It doesn't sound like this business doesn't have it together.

It was the worst !!! Ordered waited almost an hr for food , waitress never came n checked on us, no refils until we asked, food came it was awful reubin was sour , tenderloin was terrible salty , hamburger tasted weird, chef salad was bad not half of what was supposed to be in it and tomatoes were spoiled!!!!! Waitress had a major attitude with us when asked a question, plus heard her tell another customer “go help in kitchen if u want it faster!!!! Oh and i must add all 4 of us ended up vomiting or with diarrhea!!!!!!! Should be shut down!!!

Negative stars if I could. Staff is pleasant enough but this place is a health hazard. There are cockroaches in the kitchen, and the owner smokes in the back. Do yourself a favour, and avoid.

Love the "new" George's! Got the BLT with cheesy fries and it was really good. There's a new bar coming too :D

Great for basic American fare. I mostly eat breakfast, but have had the occasional lunch. In a town with so many good ethnic restaurants, it's nice to get ham and eggs. Reasonable prices, good friendly service. I'd give it 5 stars, but there's no waffles or pie. Recommended if you're looking for home-style cooking.
