Couldn’t tell if I was at a jimmy johns or a drive in movie theatre, that’s how long we sat in line

I never review restaurants but THIS is genuinely frustrating for me because for SO LONG i have been waiting for a jimmy johns to open because i like the one in ottumwa. I spent a total of $20 dollars on the worst thing ive eaten in months. the Limited Items are absolutely awful. Everything is either weirdly sweet or too greasy or Both. I ordered the Caprese Salami Pesto. the cherry tomatoes were tough as steak, the vinaigrette was almost solid and there were full disks of onion in the middle of it. eating it was genuinely uncomfortable and i couldnt bring myself to finish it. this location is a pretty good reminder that fast food doesnt mean good food. eat from local restaurants.

I’ve been converted! In the past Subway was my go-to but Jimmy John’s won me over. They have great service and the drive thru is perfect. They allow you to add pickles and other toppings (in the past they didn’t so this is huge!) I really enjoy the taste over subway (much fresher and not dried out).

Driver in maroon truck just flew around while I was driving in the road

This was not the best experience I have had at a Jimmy Johns. I waited in line for over 15 mins, then I got the wrong order. I am not sure what happened but I did notice a women standing on her phone in the background , which I thought was strange since it was the busiest time of the day ( lunch hour). Hope this was a one time situation, as I was happy that we now have a JJ.
