I don’t ever write reviews. I literally made an account to write a review right now the waiter was super rude. She seemed in a rush for no apparent reason when we told her that there would be a few more coming as they were walking inside she announced that it was more than a few more. It was three people and a four-year-old then an older gentleman came out. He was nice. He didn’t talk a lot, but he was nice. When our three year-old ordered milk they opened the milk. Left the lid off and it sat on the counter for an over an hour while we were there. They then took that said milk and gave it to the table next to us (after a hour)My last straw was when a family of four came in and sat down the waitress then shook her head in almost frustration and rolled her eyes when they sat down she then went in the kitchen and grabbed tongs for the buffet with no gloves on and rubbed her hand on the bottom of the tongs where you grab food. I stood up, took my cash tip away and left. Stay away from this place I think I might make myself go throw up so I don’t get food poisoning

Eaten here several times, the food is ok. Will never return due to the extremely rude waitress who got angry at my son to hurry up and order. I’m not sure why she was rushing anything we were the only ones in there.

Came in for breakfast after waiting for someone to finally come check on us we ordered and was told they ran out of potatoes the previous day. What kind of restaurant runs out of potatoes and doesn’t get more before next service. I can’t eat egg yolks so the whole reason we went was so I could get fried potatoes and some bacon or ham. Left with nothing and hungry.

My Dad and I stopped in for lunch. He said the food was great. Went in and my Dad has some difficulty walking with his cane sometimes and this was one of those days and a very rude lady who finally greeted us thought that I wasn't caring for my Dad well enough got very rude to me and my Dad as well. He asked about a special and this rude lady just walked away and spoke over her shoulder to him. Everything she was asked seemed to be such a hassle for her to do. Made us wait for our ticket and then finally we could hear her raising her voice saying she wasn't waiting on us that you (the man/cook) could wait on us. My Dad and I walked out and he said he would never be back. He lives in a nearby town and has eaten there many times. No more. That lady was the rudest person waiting on customers that I have ever seen. The man was very apologetic and ask us to come back however my Dad said he didn't think so.

We were passing through an area of limited opportunities, and I recalled having been at the Bridge Cafe at least 35 years earlier - and they are still in business. It was well after the lunch hour when we arrived. We grabbed a table _ beverage order promptly taken, followed by our lunch order. This is exactly what a smallntown diner should be, but can't speak to the Supper Club offering in the evenings. Yes, we'll be back.

Our experience was disappointing. When we arrived the buffet was pushed on us, but after eating a meal the night before that was similar to the buffet we decided we wanted something else. We were the only diners in the restaurant when we arrived. When we ordered the female cook on May 4 went on a disrespectful, swear word laden diatribe because she had to make our meals. The server apologized profusely. The owner arrived later and she stopped her abuse. Our meal for three of us were two burgers and a ham and cheese sandwich were uninspiring and tasteless. The price was reasonable. I think the swear laden disrespect contributed to our poor experience. The owner needs to fire this cook immediately. People like her destroy a restaurant. I know from experience as I worked in the business to pay for my education. I write this review not to destroy this business, but to send a message. Tourism in Van Buren County is a lifeline. We are from Davenport. We like coming through and supporting local businesses. Fire this woman!!! Now!!! She is hurting all of you! Thanks for reading and thanks for your time.

The chicken and the fish are great on Friday. The barbecued ribs are excellent on Saturday, and the salad bar has a wide selection. A great spot for a relaxing dinner.

The waitress were very rude. I had my kids with means The short fat one looked at me and said that she doesn’t like kids. I would not recommend this place at all. I used to go there all the time but no more and I will let my friends and family of this incident.
