“We used to have a Pizza Palace in West Union. Iowa, so we decided to give the Pizza Palace in Fredericksburg, Iowa a try and it was just as amazing as the one that was in West Union. Maybe even better.”

“Our waitress was super and the food was delicious! We will stop again. The lasagna was homemade, hot and they weren't stingy on the ingredients. It contained actual meat, melty cheese, and flavor. Even the garlic toast was thick and toasted! We enjoyed the salad bar and the variety of toppings and assorted salads it contained. We didnt get to try the soup because it must have been so tasty they ran out!

Prices were fair and the portions plenty. It's not a glamorous place but it's a great place to get great food. Worth the stop!

“I brought my brothers and sisters, a group of 8, to Klunders this morning. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Our food all came out together in a timely manner and tasted great with generous portions. Kayla did a fantastic job and took very good care of us! She got all of our orders out correctly, even with a few “special requests," kept our drinks filled, and was quite pleasant and friendly. She even went above and beyond for us when we asked her to take a group photo of us; she got up on a chair to take the pic so that she could make sure to get everyone in. And we love the pic she got of us! Thank you for a perfectly wonderful breakfast experience! We all agreed we would highly recommend Klunders- a great new favorite restaurant!”

“Go the recommendations for this place from Liz @ L&P Tanning in Fredricksburg,Iowa. I didnt stress that it had to be good bc it was for my mom Laura Henkle. She isn’t fussy but she expects that it comes proper. The very attractive uoung women who greeted me soon entry, did not disappoint. I assume she was the very polite and informative person who took my order also. As you can see the avail “basket” dinners are good portions of decent fried French fries and mom’s requested fish sandwich. Which was cooked proper, NOT over cooked, NOT spongy , WAS lightly breaded and complimented by a toasted bun. I love it when they toast my buns. AND included in the meal was whatever I wanted, from the salad bar (though it looked small I held a large assortment of garden delights) I wrapped it up w/ homemade cookies & 2 Dr Peppers. Total damage $30. Happy mother , priceless. Great job everybody!”

“We stopped in for burgers and something called Trixie sticks that the bartender suggested. The burgers were simple and I mean that in the best way. They were perfectly done and flavorful. I suggested trying the Trixie sticks! We were very pleased and will make this a regular place to eat out!”
