The western omelet and breakfast skillet were pretty good. Biscuits and gravy, not so much. Good coffee. Diner feel was nostalgic and they had a lot of Hawkeye memorabilia.

Great friendly family owned place. good everything but my secret favorite is the meatlovers (thin crust) with alfredo sauce instead of the red sauce... ? good drinks/$ too. they have a big room in the back all nice with tvs and everything for bigger family parties like what my family does there for get togethers.

Longest 20 minutes for the Driest hamburger ever, couldn't tell if all the crunch was from the dry hamburger or the overly toasted bun. Cold fries... took 3 pieces of lettuce of the "salad bar" and a mangled tomato.
I mean, atmosphere was alright, its just classic Iowa diner scene. We had the rib special, which was pretty good. Service was great considering the waitress was waiting on a whole funeral party....Salad bar could be way better...
